The best-selling STRING TOP and BRIEF was first custom designed in 1997 for none-other than Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson for the cover of Australian Style Magazine and the WA Tourism commercial. Originally created by then 24-year-old designer and C.DESIGN founder, Claire Metcalf, the piece only grew in popularity, finding a place in our C.ESSENTIALS collection then and now.

Australian Style was an iconic local publication, founded by the ever-talented Andrea Horwood. It represented Australian youth, effortless style and spotlighted the finest emerging creatives.
