C.DESIGN is a West Australian family owned business and prioritises responsible, resourceful and intelligent manufacturing. The brand promises quality and longevity, following a sustainably conscious approach to design. The garments are created with a minimal and timeless approach, to be handed down through generations. Designed in Australia and released in small limited drops, so as to never over produce. Every facet of our business from sourcing, manufacturing, packaging, to delivery has been carefully considered for future generations.
The fabric is sourced from one of the largest eco friendly fabric companies worldwide who support “Healthy Seas”, an initiative founded at Aquafil, Star Sock and the NGO Ghost Diving, three realities that share a common mission: cleaning our planet waters from pollution, including the ghost fishing nets which kill so many sea creatures. The fishing nets are recovered, together with some other waste materials and are delivered to Aquafil SpA regeneration plant. Here the materials are turned into ECONYL® a new polyamide yarn boasting the same features as virgin nylon, in terms of performance and quality, but without being produced from non-renewable, raw, fossil materials. This regenerated fabric can be recycled, recreated and remoulded again and again.
MATERIALS
Nero Garments: Fabric Features: Bielastic, recycled fiber, pilling resistant, chlorine ultra resistant, sun cream and oil resistant, UV rays protection, shape retention, compression and comfort. An Eco-sustainable techno-fabric made with Econcyl a 100% regenerated nylon yarn. The fabric is perfect for beachwear and offers a sleek matt finish with great retention to create a seamless silhouette. 78% Recycled Polyamide 22% Elastane.
Seppia & Burgundy Garments: Fabric Features: Bielastic, Pilling resistant, chlorine ultra resistant, sun cream and oil resistant. The fabric is perfect for beachwear and offers a soft sheen to the finish and a refined style with perfect fit. 80% Polyamide 20% Elastane.
Nero Mesh Garments: Fine lightweight, ultra thin, bi-elastic stretch mesh which follows the body's movement for perfect fit. 88% Polyamide 18% Elastane.
