The Sisterhood Series is a natural progression of everything C.DESIGN stands for; femininity, family and community. Originally inspired by a C.DESIGN archive campaign, shot at a friends home circa 2003 featuring Gemma Bidstrup and Hayley Moxon. Captured amongst a busy house full of friends, wine, bikinis and film cameras, the shots reflected the spirit of the day; raw, relatable and understated. Finding beauty and authenticity in feminine connection.
Decades later C.DESIGN continues to be family owned and operated, shaped by Australian community, 90’s freedom, and family heritage. Collections are developed from the original patterns created 30 years ago by our mum and founder Claire, producing timeless designs that have remained in the closets of sisters, mothers, grandmothers, and friends for decades.
In celebrating the strong bonds formed between sisters - both those born to us and those we have chosen ourselves, the Sisterhood Series was created. Each season, we are working with our favourite creatives, inviting them to capture their experience of Sisterhood, and in turn, welcoming their audience to join the series to support a chosen initiative.
This season, some of the most iconic women and your favourite wellness houses have joined the Sisterhood, all in support of White Ribbon Australia, helping end violence against women.
