Born in New Zealand, Gavin first began taking pictures in his early 20’s, moving to Perth in 1997 where he would soon meet C.DESIGN founder Claire and begin shooting full time. Through 10 years of business in the 90s, C.DESIGN’s most iconic and recognisable campaigns were shot by Gavin, inspired by the female form and embracing the backdrop of West Australia’s pristine coastline.
Reconnecting recently with the brand, Gavin has captured C.DESIGN’s new collections in Tulum and Bali, maintaining the same timeless beauty of his 90’s pictures. His eye for detail, love of light and composition, and effortlessly elegant portrayal of femininity are highlighted in the stunning artworks he creates.
